In return, Israel will be given the Gaza Strip and land at least 3 times larger than the West Bank in the Sinai Peninsula. Some of the land will be adjacent to water so Israel can build desalination plants. The Sinai is inhospitable, and Egypt doesn’t have the technology to develop it, but Israel does. With its new land, Egypt can give it to the Palestinians, make it a state within Egypt, or whatever it wants.

Palestinians in Gaza would move to the new territory adjacent to the West Bank. The purpose is to have Palestinians live in a contiguous area. The new area could connect to the Mediterranean Sea so the Palestinian area wouldn’t be isolated from Egypt. If the Palestinians in Gaza prefer to live in Gaza, that’s fine but now there would be two areas where Palestinians live.

Did you read my proposal? In exchange for Gaza going to Israel, an equivalent piece of land adjacent to the West Bank would be given to Egypt. Palestinians would be happy to move there because they will now be next to the West Bank which some of their relatives probably live.

This is what Europe should propose to Putin. Russia will withdraw from all land it seized from Ukraine after the 2022 invasion. NATO would be dissolved and replaced with a European alliance. Ukraine and Canada would be permitted to join but not the US. All sanctions against Russia will be lifted. Russia will not be required to pay reparations. If Putin doesn’t accept the proposal, the UK and France would send troops to Ukraine. Both sides are exhausted. The war has to end now.
