At our local Mexican place they would spike our margaritas so much that occasionally they’d be almost undrinkable. I’m pretty sure they were tossing a shot of everclear in it.

Your bartender will also take care of you by not charging you for every drink. The general rule i followed back then was 20% on drinks they charged you for and 50% of drinks they didn’t charge you for. They make more, you pay less.
