OSRS is a sandbox MMORPG, so you slowly build your character and do random activities however and whenever you like. You can come back to it years later and pick up where you left off without missing out.
This is in contrast to something like WOW which is often called a themepark MMO, where you make progress quickly, suffer from FOMO and then that progress is wiped when the next big expansion releases.

Dipping your monitor in shit is better than TAA. These upscalers have caused developers to use them as a crutch. Instead of making a performant native game with good MSAA options, they speed run the game and then slap DLSS (or the alternatives) on at the end for 60fps.
I get it’s not usually their fault, with crunch times etc, but it’s still a decision someone makes, that the customers could push back on. NVIDIA is spearheading it as a means to sell GPUs, locking newer DLSS versions behind new hardware and paying studios to support and advertise DLSS. I mean, at least until the AI boom, now they couldnt give a fuck about us little guys at all.
