    Better just keep switching PMs every 18 months or so to make sure that the leader is almost perpetually someone who wasn’t voted in, that should sort it.

        I mean the definition I was going by was, “There was a General Election, resulting in them being the PM.” Out of the last five Prime Ministers (including Burnham so far), only two meet that criteria.

          Less than half of all PMs entered the office as the result of a General Election. They arent presidents.
