True, but for the people who need to hear this: you are not a bad person if you think ‘I wonder if the cashier is pregnant’ you are a rude person if you say it. Thinking bad things isn’t bad. Saying or doing bad things is bad.
It’s only bad if she’s not, because it would make her uncomfortable. Picture a little nice grandma saying it, you know she’s just trying to join in the happiness that is becoming a mother, she’s trying to congratulate her and wish her well… Having said that, ofc it’s better to avoid saying it unless you’re basically 120% sure, you don’t wanna make people feel self-conscious even by mistake.
