I had a flighty cat, she was investigating a paper bag when someone rang the doorbell, she bolted like fucking mad but stuck her head through the paper handle. Maximum effort, claws out she scrabbled up the stairs ripping the bag away. except for a perfect little cape square. I had to go drag her out from under the bed to remove the cape. if it was plastic, she’d probably have strangled herself or broken something.
