A little boy in my son’s class was nonverbal autistic and an eloper. He ended up sneaking out, getting into the unlocked apartment pool, and drowning a few days after school ended this summer.
I feel so bad for his parents. They were always so exhausted trying to keep him safe because he was a little Houdini.
