We got so much time off in November due to teacher student conferences, teacher days, and other fuckery we usually did go on vacation in fall.

One year we went to Disney and the boat guy asked where we were from and over half the boat said NJ, he asked if we were a group and we all laughed and said no. Cause we weren’t. We just all decided vacation instead of teacher learning days.
