Problem is people exposing their genitals to children.
This is already illegal. Allowing drag shows doesn’t make it legal. Banning drag shows wouldn’t make it more illegal. If you think kid friendly drag shows are regularly exposing children to genitalia you are grossly misinformed. The basic premise of a drag show is about hiding their genitals.

They can’t, because it doesn’t exist. Most states have restrictions on genital exposure in strip clubs. No way any drag shows are going that far, especially since they usually occur in bars or clubs.

I have been to one once. I have photo and video evidence if you’d like me to share. It was in an 18+ bar and there was no nudity. Drag shows are entirely about crossdressing, not stripping.
Show any example where there was a drag show at a child friendly event, and if you happen to pull that off, show any example where they showed there genitals. You can’t, because that doesn’t happen.

Fair enough. But they’re trying to block explicitly sexual performances, which drag shows aren’t. They’re not putting these on in public parks, but even if they did, it should still be allowed for dudes to put on dresses and dance.
Anyone that shows there genitals in public spaces, especially to children, should be reprimanded. That’s not what’s happening here. This is a law veiled in “protect the children” but it’s just targeted bigotry.
