Not sure being out of town matters. Guy is still a waste of air. How fragile do you have to be to want to be like this to seem tough.

I know Russia is nothing to aspire to, but at least in Russia the citizens could smack this idiot around for his idiocy and the Police would be like “meh, that’s fair, they solved the civil matter”

Corrupt, arbitrary policing isn’t the flex you think it is.

If you want a law against this stuff, make a law against it, there probably already is one if the laws we have are properly interpreted and enforced. If you want proper enforcement of those laws and accountability for the police to actually follow those laws, then yes, we’re on the same page.

Vigilante justice only happens when your justice system has failed. Tolerance of vigilante justice only happens when your justice system has already failed twice. That’s Russia.

What I was referring to is in Russia it is perfectly legal to settle disputes by fist fights among citizens. No police intervention.

In more Russian absurdity: Somewhere around 2017 ish, they also legalized hitting your spouse because if you can settle a dispute with a neighbour by fist fights, the same rules should apply to your spouse.
