I might have lied in my post, sorry :( it seems to be two separate things, for now at least. They are working on bringing the Mod to the Decomp though. Still cool and the decomp should be playable as a standalone even if its still a beta.
Please do not take anything I say serious. :)
Except for when im being serious. >:(

typical autumn HATERS smh always so serious and stuck up. dates are made up anyways. when the leaves are falling I am happy :) that’s really all there is to it.

Rainy can be cozy depending on the severity. November is only miserable because its so close to Winter, that has nothing to do with Autumn.

Big autumn head myself! It’s just so fucking cozy.
I have a big lake here and everyone is just walking around it in circles all day long because Autumn is just so cool.
The falling leaves are my kind of cherry blossoms, very short lived but so beautiful.
I don’t how anybody would prefer any other season. Like whats is wrong with you?!
Everyones talking about how great flowers in spring smell, but have you smelled autumn?!
Im just a bit sad it took me 24 years to realize, if not I would have cherished them alot more.
It is no use though to dwell in past though, looking forward to lots of really cozy autumns!!
I was looking into making a toolbar extension for fun, they look really whimsical. But all major browser removed the possibility :(
I wanna say yes, but it really does not make a whole lot of sense.
GNOME is less space efficient which on a smaller display is crucial. It does have better touchscreen support in case your laptop has that (and the bigger margins do come in handy here). But i know it might sound weird but GNOME fits the vibe of a laptop better. No surprise it gets often compared to macOS and KDE being the Windows equivalent. Its just less serious… just as a laptop is. Not that you don’t get shit done on there, its just a bit more cozy :)
I have an eye on https://sinty.dev/ as well though I think there is already a alpha out, but I have done enough distro/de hoping this and last year :) From what I can tell its GNOME but with less margins. The design is still very libadwaita like which makes modern GNOME apps not look out of place. It is from the same developer that did Vanilla OS and Bottles so this won’t be abandoned too quickly. In the age of vibe coded and quickly forgotten garbage you can’t be too sure about that.
KDE is too inconsistent when it comes to margins and font sizes. I still have it installed on my Desktop PC which ever so often use to see how things are going.
My daily driver (laptop) runs GNOME though. I do not like the slightly too large margins and the flat design (old skeuomorphism icons was peak). It is consistent and despite what everyone says thanks to Extensions customisable enough. Here is my extension list:
and of course:
It is really cozy and I like it very much. :)
Yea, if it would have been only the em dashes, I would not have shared it but it was also committed by Claude which heightens the possibility of the text also being generated I think.
Had the same feeling, there are no traces of the original text but there is https://github.com/khaosdoctor/dontquotetheai/commit/7f42249e3734068306775cd51bbe1bf02bf372e6

You kinda answered your own question there. Never get why people watch streams on there though. (Except its some kind of planned event. )

As far as I know the Google Developer Verification BS won’t reach Custom ROMs right? But yea in the long run it probably makes sense to make the jump one day or another.

wtf… im so stupid. sorry. apparently I just wrote down the url from memory and did not check it. its fixed now. thanks for the heads up.

There is https://soundiiz.com/ which works really well even with their free tier. I think I have transferred all my playlists from Spotify > Apple Music > Qobuz > Youtube Music` by now :) Unfortunately it does not help with convincing family members :(

I do not get the downvotes. We are not talking about wage slaves for amazon here (where it would obviously apply) but software developers for meta. They most likely have tons in savings they could use and with a resume that gave them the current job I really doubt they are out of options. The current job market is bad Im well aware of that, but its also not like FANG turned evil just yesterday. But in the end its also best to not fight among ourselves.

Especially if it comes to security. Hate AI like nothing else but you can’t deny the truth.
Linux is open source with all its code public with probably a docent of AI Agents constantly trying out different attack vectors, they will eventually find a vulnerability. It also does feel like there are more critical CVEs in recent times. (there is https://app.opencve.io/statistics but i feel like its too simple and context matters alot here but still).
I think its okey and actually a good thing if the kernel maintainers would have some AI helping them out with that sort of thing if we get a more secure kernel in return.

Context matters. I think this article gives it fairly well. Many people jumped to conclusions really fast.
that is clearly a sea horse smh.
You mean that in reference to Wiicompiled? I never Decompiled anything myself, but from the videos I have seen about it it does look rather tedious to push bits around all day long until they match. AI is kinda made for the job. Sure it makes it far less special than it to be a group effort, but it works. I just hope the models, maps and everything else are handmade.
