Yeah by “switch to” they probably do mean flash. I could have sworn they had plans to ship Graphene phones but maybe that’s a later phase.

I love graphene, but I hope they’re planning to also roll out some very strong stock software - or else this will make for a very rough first impression on a large audience of normies and hurt graphene’s long run chance of success. The camera, gallery, and app store in particular will not come up to many users’ standards.

A lot more than just the economy, it’s like a law of nature. Even language itself obeys it

I agree. This is how he meant it and how anyone who likes him takes it. It makes him likeable to those people. It’s so childish to pretend it isn’t.
These types of “news” articles I think are actually quite dangerous. It shifts the battleground into weaker territory. If you’re a prosecutor trying to prove a guy needs a life sentence, and you have thirty testimonies of him beating puppies with hammers, why would you pull up to court saying shit like “your honor, the defendant’s cologne is too sharp and clearly in poor taste”? Meanwhile everyone who justifiably hates the puppy-flattener is excited to jump on ANY bandwagon to hate the guy, no matter how flimsy it is. Next thing you know the court is all talking about his cologne. Then the defendant comes in with some actually good explanation for that like “they didn’t have my regular cologne in prison” and now it looks like maybe the prosecution was wrong about him. The flimsy bandwagon falls apart.
I’ve said it before on here:
We MUST resist the urge to criticize bad people for weak reasons when they already provide us with stronger arguments against themselves.

I mean, this is obviously not great, but in ANY government, under ANY leadership, firing a lethal weapon at the appointed law enforcement people is gonna be harshly punished. Same for destroying property and whatnot. Free speech and protesting is a very different thing from literally shooting at people.
Yeah, I know I’m about to get flamed for saying that. So I may as well reinforce like, yeah, fuck Trump and the administration and the government in general, but like…again. Who is it that you want to see in power, who is it you want to elect, who is it you’re rooting for that wouldn’t punish this harshly? It seems like people are just reading “protestors” here and not really doing their research. These people weren’t your garden variety protestors. I don’t think people being imprisoned for shooting at police is really a sign of fascism or anything else. And there are so many other better signs of it nowadays, I think this is just a weird issue to get freaked out about. Anarchism is just about the only form of society I can think of that wouldn’t punish this to a similar extent.
At least for right now I would trust one that had the backing of the Graphene devs. Them and Signal are probably the two most rock solid trust sources right now. (Of course this must constantly be reevaluated)
