Believe it or not, people use Linux for more than just privacy reasons.

1w makes a huge difference when your laptop is only consuming 4. That’s how laptops get 20+ hour battery life. My M1 MacBook uses like 5-8 watts in normal usage. 1 more watt is very noticeable.

Vnc actually works great on Mac’s. Every other device I’ve tried it on? Awful, painfully slow. But whatever Apple has done to make it not a slow POS makes it just as good as RDP or other alternatives.
