I haven’t done lemongrass but I have done tons of different herbs. I would recommend keeping each one single herb and then mix in a beverage or dish. The flavor intensity can vary a bit

It’s delicious. Also it has most of the vitamins, minerals and other plant compounds of the basil. Good way to get more herbs in your life

God. It’s so bad. My daughter just turned one and I barely got any baby ads because I’m a man and don’t use social media. But my wife got so many different targeted ads. It’s was so hard to find what you really need vs what you are told you need. We only had one big spend that we think was useless. It was a wood highchair that our daughter hates so we got a used cheaper one which is so much better.
She loved to be connected with other moms especially when she was on leave. But it feels so predatory in a way that exploits our need to be connected. It only works better against women since men are socialized to be lonely and like it. The community is real with advertisers coming in like parasites to suck money out of people.

There’s a hidden depth to gardening that takes you by surprise

I have never had them but sound delicious. There are so many varieties that you can’t try unless you grow them yourself.

There’s something both satisfying and so stressful about gourds. The vines can get so long and out of control but you get something both delicious and easy to harvest. They have been pretty consistent at my house since we let them grow over our fence and on our retaining wall.
We got a few acorn squashes, lots of decorative gourds and Luffas growing this year. What all did you plant? I see butternut but unsure about the others

The easiest way is to infuse it in Apple Cider vinegar. Roughly chop the plant (Stems and all) and put in mason jar. Top with apple cider vinegar and let infuse for 4-6 weeks. Strain out the solids and you have basil vinegar. Great on a salad and great in a beverage. Just put a bit with sparkling water, or juice or soda to get a little basil kick.

As others have said the flavor and mostly the texture can change after going to flower like this. If you are using you for teas, tinctures or infusion is actually kind of great. The flavor is stronger and more floral. It’s great
Lot of plants who spread via rhizomes or other root parts are difficult or impossible to grow via seeds. I suspect they fall under that category. The best way to spread is to use part of the root. I suspect that is what you need to do.
