Because the people who own everything want to keep owning everything and because they own everything they have the resources to propagandize the idea that them owning all the things is actually good.
I think a good question worth asking yourself when it comes to evaluating claims made by someone is “Would they still have a reason to say this if it weren’t true?” Would rich people, the politicians whose campaigns were backed by rich people, and media outlets owned by rich people have a reason to support the system which makes them rich even if their claims about it being good for everyone else were not true? Yes.
Next innovation: the schmoozebot 9000. It’s a wheeled robot that comes equipped with a chatbot, a company credit card, a drink dispenser, and a cannon that shoots dollar bills.

Y’know, I might actually prefer that. The bad CGI horses are already immersion breaking, so why not just go all in? Some of my favorite comedy anime have made sparing use of live action bits mixed into the animation and it’s always hilarious.
Is this why the horses in anime are always CGI?

“Air traffic control, please respond. We aren’t able to see the landing strip and we might crash!”
“Sounds like a skill issue. Git gud.”
But it’s the same one. There are two distinct horses.
Idk what it is, but I think I get plenty of fiber in my diet but I still regularly have problems with this. My doc told me drinking water with the fiber is important, but I’m pretty sure I’m already drinking lots of water too. So… idk, if it gets bad enough maybe I’ll go look into it some more.
