It just makes killing one take more drones. No where near the cost of a tank though. It’s going to have to get a lot better before that trade isn’t good for the drone user.
Sometimes big heavy targets with big guns just stop being used because they’re no longer efficient or effective (like battleships).

It’s not air superiority, it’s drones. Russia also isn’t really able to protect its tanks. They’re an obsolete technology, at least until some more effective anti-drone defenses are developed. They already weren’t that great due to the air power requirement, but with drones they’re just a waste of money and lives.

Tanks in Ukraine are just as useless as tanks everywhere else, it’s not like the donor nations have lost something.

What the fuck do you think you’re trying to show here? That’s another poll from even closer to the election about approval for an already selected candidate. Do you read the things you post?

That’s a poll between a Harris and Trump in California after she’d already been selected as the nominee you disingenuous twat.

Destroying the postal service is a conservative goal. UPS, FedEx, and Amazon don’t want there to be a semi-public alternative that anyone can use.

Whether something is too close to an election to change or not is entirely based on whether conservatives want it to happen.

Maybe you’re falling for conservative propaganda then? We don’t need to make the basic operations of democracy hard.

The article explains almost nothing about the ruling.

And Case’s career was put on ice because he didn’t wait his turn and challenged Senator Akaka in 2006. He only won back into the House 12 years later with a plurality due to a crowded field for an open seat. One of his proclaimed differences with Akaka was saying he’d have voted for the Iraq War.
He really just sucks so bad and I hate that we’re saddled with him.

I know this was just referencing a random Democratic city, but as a resident of Honolulu, our blueness is a bit weird. We just effectively reelected Ed Case by like 30 points in his first competitive primary since 2018, but we also have two medium progressive senators. It’s diverse and Democratic, but not very politically active with a bias toward name recognition and seniority. Honolulu, Ohio would keep the state red.

You’d think if these party officials were so concerned about progressive candidates having a hard time with certain electorates or just in general, they, as loyal Democratic Party functionaries, would be sending extra resources and working double time to promote the candidate. If bland genocide-tolerant moderates are better for general elections then you can focus money and support on helping shore up the DSA candidates they think will have a harder time.
Oddly that hasn’t generally been the response.

Feels like a gift to CAP. Unlikely this report would have been widely known about without the lawsuit.

No, he did try to do that. He just set the payment point super far in the future so the Supreme Court had plenty of time to block it. Because they’re also just conservative tools who will rule based on their personal political preferences rather than the law.
He didn’t do it well, but Biden (presumably after considerable lobbying by progressives) did at least try to exercise that power that was given to him explicitly by law. The SC just made up a new doctrine to say “the text of the law doesn’t matter if we feel like it”.

I’d also say re-used Bluray/DVD lasers to burn out the camera CCD, but that would need to be done very carefully, only angling from above, to avoid risk to aircraft and definitely care to avoid any people nearby.
Just look behind it and don’t point it at aircraft. If you can’t see them they’re either not there or behind clouds that will block a laser beam.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KSLM_(AM)
KSLM (1220 kHz) is an AM radio station licensed to serve Salem, Oregon, United States. … KSLM broadcasts a conservative talk radio format.
The story came from the Salem Radio Network, which is not based in or focused on Salem, Oregon, but a part of the Salem Media Group out of Texas.
The founders of Salem Communications support various religious causes, and are noted for their role in spreading politically conservative opinion to areas dependent on radio for current events information.
So that explains why this story doesn’t seem to have any background information on the “Democrat” or interrogate the idea that Republicans are voting for personal freedom.

For Rogers supporters—including many Republicans and former Democrats—the message is that this election is not simply about party loyalty. It is about common sense, individual freedom, and resisting the expansion of government into everyday life.
Fucking wild. The Republican capacity for self-delusion will be studied for decades.
“I believe government should be small…”
Billions of dollars in new deficit spending.
“…and support individual freedom…”
Bans on women’s choice and adult gender affirming care.
“…and not intrude on everyday life…”
Masked government agents roaming the streets and accosting people without probably cause.
“…and that’s why I’m voting for Republicans!”

If the police didn’t pay for it then who is the crime against?
Fix the title.
