I mean, not with Valve’s blessing, but we kinda own them thanks to Goldberg and friends


And world peace and the end of hunger too.
Sadly most people will get slowly boiled like a frog. People got comfortably numb and they want everything spoonfed. They won’t learn new things, they won’t wean off big services that make everything convenient.
You’d be surprised. Linux is where good hardware goes to live forever.
For example, the super weird “Sidewinder Strategic Commander” runs out of the box on Linux. A Microsoft device. That got its drivers deprecated after XP SP2, runs today on new kernels without doing anything
