  • It will be a tree-pronged attack - impeachment, section 25, and alienating Republicans from Trump. The Republicans will never consent to impeaching both Trump and Pence, because that would make a Dem the POTUS. They need a two-thirds majority for the trial, so they still need the Republican support in the Senate. Already, Vance is working on Kushner for a blindside. For instance, from Google AI, “Both Vance and Kushner participated in the inaugural Board of Peace meeting in Washington, D.C., addressing international leaders regarding Middle East stabilization and Gaza reconstruction.” and “Vance joined Kushner and Witkoff in Switzerland for high-level direct discussions with Iranian officials and regional diplomats to push for a halt to regional instability and nuclear ambitions”. Maybe Kushner might be interested in leaving Ivanka and, well, there is the ex-not-ex wife of Vance. But for sure Kushner would throw Trunp under the bus if there was enough in it for him. Kushner for VP?

Trump is a convicted felon, Trump has already been found liable for his sexual predation, the Supreme Court of the United States has already stated that there is a strong case for considering Trump committed treason, there just wasn’t a constitutional way to address the issue, and already Vance and the Supreme Court have coddled up together to tackle the constitutional issue. ‘The Supreme Court’s conservative majority ruled 6-3 in a case initially brought by JD Vance’s 2022 Senate campaign, striking down decades-old federal limits on how much political parties can spend in direct coordination with candidates’ Google AI.

Anyone who thinks the American economy is not quickly losing ground on the world stage just isn’t following the World news. Already the Chinese economy is far, far above the American economy, PPP. The period of American domination of the world economy is irrevocably over. And as we all know, to an American, if you are not the winner, you are the loser, and Americans hate losing. Yes, in the eyes of most Americans, the American economy is spiraling down, and this is really bad news for the Republicans and for Trump. They will be looking for a scapegoat after November, and Trump fits the bill perfectly. Nero fiddled while Rome burned, Trump renames lakes and alienates America’s best friend while the country falters and once again finds itself in a no-win war, this time against Iran.

Vance will pull a ‘Trump’, and claim that only he can save America, but Vance will have the credibility and the evidentiary support to back him up.

  • Just checked, Google Maps still calling it Lake Ontario.

But this is just the ammunition Vance needs to dethrone Trump after the mid-terms. "Rome burns while Nero fiddles’.

Not only are Trump’s antics the laughing stock in Canada, the laughter is spreading into America as well. Why is Trump throwing a hissy fit over the name of a Lake when the American economy is crumbing? This is his top priority?

It won’t take much for Vance to question Trump’s mental health and fitness for office when he is ready to act.

The American polls are against Trump on this issue. Just under 4 in five (79%) of Americans have a favorable impression of Canada. They may not be following the trade talks, but this message was directed at Americans, and it is hard for them to miss. Why is Trump so visibly trash-talking Canada? It has absolutely no political up side, with no hope it will be favorable to those Republicans who are facing Senate and House elections in three months. The more that Republicans distance themselves from Trump, the easier it is for Vance.

  • Through a ‘forced resignation’ - making Trump an offer he can not refuse. Resign or be impeached. Vance only needs a few Republicans to turn, as it is a certainty that every Democrat would vote for his impeachment. All Vance needs to do is to convince the Democrats that it was their idea. The ‘treason’ angle is still very much able to return front-and-center. I am sure Vance has had the time to dig up the really incriminating stuff. Really juicy stuff like a scandal of Trump Corp. making huge inside gains based on intel Kushner fed Trump Corp operatives - take down both Trump AND Kushner. Doesn’t have to be the truth - doesn’t even have to be believable. With an approval rating in the 30’s, no one will want to go down with a sinking ship. Vance has to act before Rubio gets a toe-hold. But Vance needs at least a year as POTUS in order for him to get entrenched. As a narcissist, Vance out-Trumps Trump.

Incidentally, it is obvious that whatever occurred in the past will have absolutely no predictive vale today. America is in a free-for-all spiral down with nothing but knee-jerk reactions, and a clear-headed Vance to steer his way through the morass.

  • Read the agenda. Vance will never let Trump last until 2928. .Vance wants to be POTUS without the need for an election, and he gets his wish it Trump is deposed at the mid-terms. Vance is just giving Trump enough rope to hang himself.

The way Vance is maneuvering, not even the Democrats could blow the chances of the House and Senate going Democrat. This is all about Republican voters making the shift, and they are doing it regardless of what the Democrats do or say. The Republicans want Trump gone more than the Democrats do.

  • Like I said, nothing but hot air. The Avro Arrow fiasco sent a clear message to every University engineer and science grad, and every Canadian company. I know, I was there. We learned: Rule number one, your future is in America, Rule number two, if you think otherwise, see rule number one. The Canadian government will never stand behind you, it will always pull the plug. The last fifty years of public and economic policy may be as far back as your mind can grasp, and even longer than your memory can trace, but history and my memory go a lot further back than that. Fifty years isn’t even a life span.Neoliberalism is for children. Reality is for adults. History never falls into neat classifications and sound bites.

  • I am entirely aware of neoliberalism. You might want to research the Avro Arrow. The Avro Arrow was the premiere Canadian industrial project in the 50’s, It was a collaborative effort by the Canadian government and Canadian private industry (Avro) to develop the world’s most advanced fighter AND commercial jet aircraft known at the time. The concept had advanced as far as the production stage for the commercial version (Avro Jetliner). The military version was at the final design stage, with prototypes being built. The Conservative government under Diefenbaker pulled the plug on it, and basically put a very progressive and influential Canadian company (Avro) out of business and chased top level Canadian engineers and scientists South to work for NASA and other American aviation firms. It was arguably the most massive brain drain Canada has ever seen. It singularly destroyed any hope of Canada having an world class aviation industry independent of the Americans and beyond American control, while at the same time ensuring NASA and the other American ‘aviation giants’ had the best intellectual minds known at the time. NASA would never have made it to the Moon without these Canadian giants. The Conservative government pulled the plug on it expressly because the American government at the time gave dire warnings that if it continued America would ‘gut’ Canada, and Dief the Chief’ caved in. The publicly stated reason was that Canada could no longer afford it as it was soaking up all investment capital and public money, but then made a complete falsity of this argument by insisting every last scrap of the project from machinery, blueprints, any and all completed assemblies, and all design documents to not just be scrapped but to be completely destroyed, shredded and crunched into bits of metal. He wanted the project to be completely wiped off the face of the earth, no trace remaining. As you stated this was well before the term ‘neoliberalism’ was even thought about. Neoliberalism has absolutely nothing to do with Canada’s current position and was not a factor in creating it. It goes back a lot farther than anything you stated. Your neoliberal rant is nothing but hot air.
