Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Stray performance issues on Linux mint laptopEnglish
2·18 hours agoI mean you took a reasonable suggestion as toxicity, ok 🤷. Your suggestion to switch to Windows instead is also valid. To use Linux means you’re willing to put up with relatively new issues. One issue being the choice of your “final” distro. But if that’s too much then yeah, there’s no shame with switching back to Windows.

4·4 days agoOr people who say “I genuinely want to know…{dumbass question}.” Fuck off and just ask the question. No need to add fat to the question.
I literally can’t comment on Lemmy if I’m using a VPN so what are you taking about? XD

Linux@lemmy.ml•Omarchy Linux Just Got $8 Million From Tech's Biggest Names
16·8 days agoI’m just explaining what the creator of Omarchy (a Linux distro) believes and why people call him a Nazi. Technically they’re wrong but he’s still a massive racist. I think that Britain post is still up on his website which means he’s sticking to his racist beliefs and people don’t like racists. That’s all.

35·8 days agoHe’s a white replacement theory guy who wishes Britain could go back to its “old culture.” Maybe not specifically a Nazi because he hasn’t promoted the death of an ethnic group, but he certainly is a racist and dispises immigrants.

Games@lemmy.world•More People Are Pre-ordering The $100 Edition Of GTA 6English
1·23 days agoIt’s probably one of the only games that might deserve to be more than $100. Not worth a pre-order but it’s GTA…

From my understanding DLSS 5 can be targeted. Meaning the developer can choose to make a chair look more realistic while reducing the effects for others objects (like NPCs). I think the marketing group dropped the ball on the utility of DLSS 5 and went with the most dramatic NPC altering features. I’ve seen some DLSS5 lighting comparisons in Cyberpunk and I have to admit… It’s pretty damn good.
