Thank you for your interest in my problem, really, it means a lot. No, I haven’t opened a Github issue becayse I was sort of sure it was a virus and as that was the fifth time, I just gave it up because I have spent about 3000 euros on the systems, so I was frustrated and gave it up

Have you ever seen such a change that background of fonts changed from black to red? Or have you experienced such a case that usb operating system wouldnt start in any way?
I myself have experienced it. Of course it would be a very big event if something like that came out from a youtuber but I assure you that Im sure of it because of cosmetic changes in fonts and a lot of slow downs
I’m not blaming Qubes OS, I’m blaming fedora. I know that Qubes OS itself is reputable and reliable. What do you mean with building from source? So you don’t use the default updater?
It should be working normally but I’m not an expert at that. You could buy a desktop computer with a PS/2 keyboard input. You wouldn’t need a mouse with such a setup. But still you should buy a usb mouse to be comfortable
I’m not joking. I have experienced it a couple of times
A usb mouse wont work to start the OS, so it’s a hardware issue but you are very close. If you have a laptop, you could use the touchpad for the start up
Use Qubes OS. Do not update anything including Tor browser and the OS. Just install the new version as soon as it is released on Qubes OS website. Otherwise you will probably get a virus. I know this from experience, please take this into account

In almost all of my trials, I used only tor for about a few hours with javascript off. So I’m pretty sure I got the virus from fedora and/or tor update. I just can’t prpve it because using wireshark in Qubes OS is complicated (or I failed). But before that I used to use kicksecure and got a wireshark record from there. There were connections made to Github, Google and Amazon out of nowhere. I just want people to live without viruses, so I warn them.
Unfortunately viruses invade also bios, so I had to sell the system. I know it because I tried clean install and the slow downs and wierd behaviours continued on a kicksecure pc. So why not would it not continue in a Qubes setup?
