Mut. Dog breeds are a recent (last few 1000 years) invention of humans. When dogs intermingle without intervention they all end up looking like dingos basically.
More like the past few centuries. You’ll notice that, if you read the Odyssey, Argos was just a fucking dog, and in pictures from Victorian dog shows, the now weird-looking breeds still look normal.

In Mexico, all the dogs looked the same, kind of like this as I recall.
This does also look like a red bone coonhound in part to me though but not sure.
They do in Argentina when i visited too.
