What boggles my mind about u.s.a. corporations is the “winning” mindset. You either win or lose. You don’t just “do business”. Everything has to be in the function of “winning”. When does a company "win“? When it killed all competition? What’s the play here?
That’s capitalism without any regulation or guardrails. When they have no competition, they can raise prices and we’ll have no alternative. When prices are already high, they’ll raise them higher; it’s literally never enough…
