    I work in tech. Many of my older colleagues have kids in college, and I am continually hearing, “There are no CS majors.” Maybe we shift what that means in the coming years, but it concerns me that the jobs are disappearing, the pathways are eroding, and we’re not incenting replacement of those most qualified to act as a check & balance against these systems.

    I’ve been saying it for months but it’s nice to have a study about that phenomenon.

    AI is also bad for seniors because “we don’t need so many seniors, one senior with an army of AI is enough.”

    I can’t believe I am now the old person yelling at a cloud about how important it is to understand first principles (or whatever the equivalent is in CS)
