headline should read “openAI stole someone else’s research and took credit”
Apparently approach etc. Are fundamentally different.
Why is this downvoted? It is true that they are claiming to have solved the problem. Ofc there is a claim by someone else that OpenAI stole their result, but that does not make the framing of this news invalid.
People want to hate AI results. They can be blamed for the hardship caused by the current times. And not entirely wrongly.
I’ll wait for the Coffee Break: Señal y Ruido podcast to tell me abou it.
