Even if it’s not your cup of tea, perhaps this and the video that just went up on Netflix (and will come to a YouTube near you in 5 hours) will squash those fears about this game not having a proper GTA campaign.

What do you think about the game after watching the extended look? Lemmy seems to be very anti-GTA, there is another post sharing the trailer and it’s also highly downvoted.
I haven’t been feeling excited for big open-world sandboxes these days, and this same. To me, this is just the “next GTA”, better graphics, different side activities, different map, but still the GTA. I would love to play this, but somewhere down the road, don’t care enough about it right now.
All my friends are super excited though.
Lemmy in general seems to really hate GTA, I agree. I think there’s probably a variety of reasons for that.
As for me, I gathered from the extended preview that it looks like they took parts of GTA San Andreas, IV, V, and RDR2 and combined them, then fleshed out some of the systems even deeper. It really seems like it’s going for a lot of immersive elements.
Honestly, it looks incredible to me. I think the people saying it looks like GTA V are nuts. It’s a shame that I’m boycotting it, because I’d probably love it.
It looks like another GTA, but I like GTA. I hope they lean more into the agency that comes along with heist setup missions rather than not, but even if they don’t, I’ll probably still enjoy it.
