I know someone who is retired military and one day the hat that they always wear (that said navy, the group and other things) suddenly changed to the same bright red color that MAGA hats are. This is the one I take issue with. If selling your game involves secrecy and hype, rather than making a good game, then that is solely their fault for a poor business decision.

The governor of Kentucky is rolling over and being useless when he should be standing up to what’s going on. Should people vote less? Hell no, I honestly believe voting should be mandatory and that everyone is registered automatically the moment they turn 18. But none of that precludes me from criticizing who is in office.

So what makes people think this carrier will fare any better? The issue is with the supply chain. That’s going to become a problem if you’re just swapping carriers.

I’d argue a large part of what made the US Military a formidable force was its logistical capabilities. You need a hospital in 3 days, done. You need a bridge here in 24 hours, done. It wasn’t just the weapons.

But when you gimp your own supply lines and let them be destroyed because “oh that doesn’t matter”, you’ll find out how quickly that “force” can crumble under its own weight.

Are you really that placated by “oh he’s alive, trust us?” with all of the subterfuge that the Republicans do? It would have been easy to call for it and then say “I look forward to be proven wrong when I talk to him in person”

He could have called for a special election before August 3rd and forced the issue. That’s a hell of a lot more than I could do.

You also left out: McConnell is a US Senator for the state of Kentucky. It’s not like he immediately became untouchable by his state he represents the moment he got elected.

The democrats (and the governor) are just too spineless to force the issue.
